Antispasmodic, Anticholinergic and Antiflatulent

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION
Dicyclomine is a weak antimuscarinic agent with direct antispasmodic action. Dicyclonmine relieves smooth muscle spasms involving the Gastrointestinal tract that is associated with irritable bowel syndrome. Simethicone acts in the stomach and intestines by altering the surface tension of gas and mucus bubbles accelerates the passage of gas through the intestine either through belching, passing o! flatus, or increased absorption of gas into the bloodstream.

INDICATIONS
Dicyclomine is used in gastrointestinal spasm, Nocturnal griping pain. Gaseous Distention, spasm during Diarrhoea & Dysentery,

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Pipcol is contraindicated in, Obstructive disease of the gastrointestinal tract. Evidence of prior hypersensitivity to Dicyclomine Hydrochloride or other ingredients of these formulations, Infants less than 6 months, of age and nursing mothers
